Feels Like The Parking Brake Is On with The Wheels Cut Full Left Or Right.
Weird feeling...Pulled into my driveway and backed up and then cut the wheel full left. Went to go forward and the rig required alot more pedal to move then it did before.
WTF..is this??? It feels like the parking brake is on. But..when I straighten the wheel...she moves forward at idol..untill you cut the wheel. Cut the wheel to the right full.....same thing .....the rig stops crawling as it did when the tires are straight.
Then It dawned on me... You F en idiot..!!! You hit the 4 Wheel Lock Button when you reached down to turn the NAV radio on. The rig doesn't like concrete in 4 Wheel Lock..!!!

Re: Feels Like The Parking Brake Is On with The Wheels Cut Full Left Or Right.
I did the same thing, except in a parking lot at a grocery store after only owning the H3 for 4 days. It didn't want to back up when I turned the wheel. The '06 H3 was new back then (Aug. '05) and OnStar didn't know what was wrong .. and when I called the dealer, they didn't know. Reading your post now brought back memories!

There should be "4 wheel drive" listed on the display panel.
The button can be hit easy enough.
I sometimes pull on to a road(after wheeling) and forget, the first turn you make you can tell its in 4 lock.

That happens in all 4x4 when in 4xmode and turning. Turn response Feels hard turning and pushes back on the steering in pulses.

All these new fangled vehicles are just too difficult for us "old folk" to get accustomed to.

HMMM, it happened last big snow here, used the lock to get out of the drive way and got to the gas station I thought the drive train was locking up on me. The DIC and instrument panel leaves lots to be desired (like a temp guage and an oil pressure guage to start)

ITs in 4 wheel low.
I installed my cobra 75 cb mic next to the buttons.
I accidently hit the 4 wheel low button often.
Easy fix. Hit 4 wheel high.
