Dealer broke my quarter panel window....
So I drop off my car to the dealer on Wednesday for 80,000km service + some oil leaks on diffs.
and I go pick it up today....service guy gives me the invoice and i go pay it. When I come back he's like did you know there's something wrong with your window? Im like no not really, so we go outside so he can show me the window. Well guess what there's a hole in my window liek if somebody threw a baseball threw it. He's like was it like that when you brought the car?.....Thats when I lost it...ARE YOU ****EN KIDDING ME....YEAH I WAS DRIVING MY H2 WITH A HOLE IN THE WINDOW AND NEVER NOTICED? WTf....then he's like they probably vandalized it at night....
ARE YOU ****ENJOKING ME....YOU GUYS HAVE 4 DOGS + 2 SECURITY GUARS WHAT THE **** IS THE JOKE...
So i figured out what happen finally...since it had happened to my friend. That pump they use to put oil in the engine once they release it to roll back to the ceiling it probably swinged right into my window cause the ****en mechanic is a retard.
Guess I will never be going back to them again.
Now i gotta go see my insurance broker to call their insurance to make the claim. M*therF*ckers
And on top of that they dont even have one window instock it will take 1-2 weeks...
So yeah guy anybody from QUEBEC...avoid PLAZA CHEVROLET i think all the retards work there.

Kicking someones ass comes to mind in situations like that. Sure it doesn't solve anything but it sure goes a long way in helping me feel better about the situation.

I agree but I'll be damned if I wouldn't raise FREAKIN' HELL with the dealership. There is no way I'd be calling my insurance company, let those idiots pay for it.

Re: Dealer broke my quarter panel window....
Every person that I know that gets service at that dealer has a complaint....
Its not enough he told me you will have the truck back Thursday and they only had it ready Friday 5pm...
Ridiculous....SERVICE 0% crap...cant wait till they call when they do their survey about the service...

Re: Dealer broke my quarter panel window....
I can't imagine a dealer having that happen then telling you to get your insurance involved...for a few hundred bucks the dealership can avoid the whole situation, and earn a customer that will spend thousands over their ownership of the vehicle..

Does anyone know if the surveys are taken seriously?
I've had terrible service too and I've done the surveys but it seems they've only changed the way the survey asks questions and not really how the dealership is runned. I did have better service this last time though (they didn't ruin my car this time) they did take the time to point out little insignificant scratches in my paint at check in time but I couldn't find anyone to go over my truck when I went to pick it up. I bet the stupid racist kid that checked my truck in the last time played the "it was like that when it came in" blame game so they had to have someone else check me in.
Sorry to hear about your incdent Shrek.. hope GM/Hummer does you right.

X2. I'm afraid to take my truck back to that dealer now. I'm pretty sure they'll remember me.

IMO, mistakes happen. They own up and fix it, then they get more chances, and you stand a good chance of having success in future visits.
But if they hem and haw and avoid owning up to them, it doesn't matter if they eventually do correct the issue. It's going to happen again and again. The culture of the place is simply one that has no "self-esteem."
You're either going to get continued crappy service from them, or worse, poorer service in retailiation for ruining their cushy little scam world where they get away with doing shoddy work.
I want neither more crappy service nor retaliation. It's a no win situation.
Too bad I'll soon be moving back to the town where there's only crappy HUMMER dealer within 250 miles.
Shrek,
Get in their face about it with the manager. Things don't change unless you call people out on it. If they own up, give them another chance. If they don't, you've got nothing to lose by dragging HUMMER corporate into it. Perhaps that might help the dealership make an attitude adjustment.

I work 7 days a week in the summer double shifts 5 days out of 7...really dont have time to waste with these guys...ill just bring my truck to the dealer next to my house since they service Hummer's as well...and ill let my insurance broker take care of this problem....
They could of fixed the window whil the car was there but i guess 800$Can for a window + labor is not worth nothing to them compare to losing a customer that just spent 3000$ to service his car.

Re: Dealer broke my quarter panel window....
I had that window broken when I was burglered. I called my auto glass guy the next day and they fixed it that day. And yes, it was OEM glass. Cost 240$

Re: Dealer broke my quarter panel window....
After a 30 min discussion with the service manager they finally decided that they will replace the window without a penny out of my pocket.

Shouldn't have taken that long -- by then they've already lost you as a future customer..(i'm guessing)...but glad it finally worked out to your advantage...
