NJ H2 has a little shameless behaviour in the past

OK, I mentioned this is another thread but I thougt it deserved it's own.
It seems to me that GMS pricing is great if you are going to purchase the H2 but don't expect any deals on the "Smart Buy" or Lease.
Here's what I figured out.
Go into the Dealership during GMS pricing offer and with 0 money down they quoted me $785.00 a month Smart Buy and aprox $775.00 for a lease.
That is the same price as before GMS pricing!
GM jacked up the Smart Buy interest rate in order to do this.
If every $1,000. = $30.00 in a monthly payment then if they reduce the purchase price by $8,000. for the GMS
then the payment for a Smart Buy or lease should be $240.00 less that before GMS pricing! Either that or everyone was paying $785.00 + $240.00 before the GMS pricing offer and we all know that never happened!

I think the current pricing (employee plus $1,000 dealer cash) is really about the same as dealers were doing before (with larger rebates). I agree it is mostly a marketing tactic and may be a better deal on other vehicles.
