Hey all,
I'm running into this issue. I don't know where to put change, there is a little slot right in front of the shifter, but if I take a corner it slides around and possibly out. I have been putting mine in the front cup holder.
I guess I'm just going to get a toll tag so I don't have to worry about it so much, but I always like having a place to throw change?
I'm not ready to go back to the Hyundai yet though

I generally hold on to mine until I see a Jeep driving around. I then lauch toward it's windshield.

I give it to my 3yo, he takes it home and puts it in his piggy bank.

I keep mine in the ashtray in the first cup holder since I don't smoke.

I keep it in my pocket until I get to the store. Then I spend it.

Check your glove box. It fits into one of the cup holders.

There's this thing,--Behind the shifter--that opens up--The console! Last time I emptied mine, scored twenty plus bucks!

The ashtray is a $15 option. It fits into one of the cupholders in the center console. Mine had it but it now resides on a shelf in my garage.
Now, in regard to the change holder, my suburban had and my wifes LeSabre has a change holder in them that mounts onto two posts that are attached inside the console on drivers side. My H2 has those same two posts inside the console and my guess is there is a coin holder made that will fit it. Maybe one of the experts here knows more.

I just dump mine into the cavernous center console - which sucks when you need it b/c I have to dig around all the other junk that seems to reside, and multiply, there.
But, when I empty it out, I usually end up with $ 20 - $30!
I tried to use the ashstray and keep that in the center console, but it gets full too quickly.

I put mine in the little compartment in the glove box. The one on the left when you open it.

Inside your center console on the left hand side near the top there is a coin holder. Or there should be, I don't know if the SUT retained the type of center console. Anyway it's a plastic piece with places for quarters, nickels, dimes each slot has a spring loaded keeper so to keep the top most coin in each column handy. At least it is here on my 04 SUV. It's worth looking into or for. If the coin holder is missing and there are 3 plastic slots or fins near the top of the center consol when you lift the lid that is what went there. Your dealer can probably get you a replacement.
