Default How to turn engine oil change indicator of

Hi again.

Another question.

I don`t want to pay a lot of money, getting my H2 serviced. I want to make service myself.
How do I re-set the indicator ??

Bring up the engine life on the display then push and hold the reset button (it is the bottom button and the passengers side of the steering wheel that has the arrow pionting toward the drivers side door.) At least that is the way I reset mine. I have a 03.

I have never heard of using a button to reset the engine oil life indicator? I just turn my key to "on" with the engine off, and press the gas pedal 3 times then shut off the key. done.

Its in the owners manual, but I think it has something to do with tapping the gas pedal with the truck key turn on but the engine off. It then chimes. I will check to see though

My friend does the same way too. But he made it after trying several times. Anyways, can you recommend us where to get some manual for this? Can't find mine at the basement.

You are welcome.

What year owners manual you looking for ? I have a Adobe Acrobat copy of the 2003 and the 2005 model years that I would gladly e-mail to you, their only approx 3 mb in size. Don't ask why, but I keep a copy of the 2003 manual on the BlackBerry so I don't have to open the glove box to get the hard copy out
