Default Cognito's Blisten Front and Rear is there a Diff?

I bought Two From www.trailduty.com and after I have read Countless Post on this Subject I am now wondering if they sent me the rears instead of the fronts, or is there a Difference? The First Picture is a front install on another site. The Second is a Picture of the Shocks they sent me. The Boots are reversed. and there is a "R" written on bottom mount. Any help would be apprecited before I start the install. Thanks

I put the same front shocks on mine last week. Part number on the box was F4-BE5-C153-HO. The boot on yours is in the correct place.

So with the longer shock is there enough room under compression (bottoming) so the shock doesn't become the bumpstop?

What is the compressed length of the Cognitos compared to the stock shocks? If they don't compress to the same length of the stock ones then the shocks with get damaged for sure.

Just a slight difference. The rears use a barpin (top) and eye (bottom) mounts. It would be quite a trick to make those fit.

Looks like Cognito changed the shock they were using to make these. I can check the exact part # when I get home, but IIRC, the ones I got (in that pic BTW) were originally made for a Ford.
