There are many subjects in the forum about lifting the H3 using the torsion bar bolts. Let this post be the start of a combined list for ONLY anyone that made the adjustment using the torsion bar bolts and lets get it all in one place.
Provide your information to the below question assuming everyone turned the bolts clockwise.
A) How many full turns were made to the torsion bar bolts?
B) How much lift did you accomplish?
C) Did you notice any difference in the performance of the ride?
D) How many miles were driven since the adjustment was made?
E) Did you have the front end aligned after the adjustment?
F) Was the alignment out of spec?
G) Did you notice any premature wearing issues?
H) What percent is on road driving?
I ) What percent is off road driving?
J) Would you consider any additional leveling devices?
K) Additional Comments

Go to E-bay and type in 8026731212 into the search box. I purchased the ones for $160.00 but I am still waiting to receive them. There is also another sent listed but I didn't want the addition spring bar.
If all goes well with the torsion bolt adjustment I may just return them.

OK, I'll chime in. Two full turns, did it myself and it took less than one minute. Didn't change the ride at all, raised the front about 1 1/4", almost level. Checked the alignment and it didn't change.
Here's the one thing I did notice that nobody mentioned or noticed yet. Between 40 and 50 miles per hour, with the sunroof open I get a tremendous air modulation. I wasn't sure if it was due to the change, so I lowered it back down and drove it and the modulation was gone. It changes the aerodynamics enough to cause some wind buffeting into the sunroof at a certain speed. Opening one of the back windows about an inch stops the problem.
Anyway, other than that one odd effect, I like the look much better, and it certainly didn't affect the way it handles on or off road.

Thanks for the good information. I made another 1/2 turn so I'm now at 2 1/2 turns and finally level. I really don't feel any diference but do have a alignment scheduled for next week. I'll check the sunroof situation although it is not going to be long since the testing is here in Pittsburgh and cold weather is upon us. Do you have a brush guard that helps create the wind disturbance?

So does cranking up the torsion bars cause any warranty issues?

I just made a check with the sun roof opened and noticed a slight wind noise around 50 to 60 MPH. I do have the brush grill go it may have disturbed the wind flow less noise than yours.
I still like the higher front end so I am going to live with the slight noise when the sun roof is open and turn up the radio when needed.

Has anyone else tweeked their torsion bars? 2 1/2 turns is about a little less than 1 inch for being even on my H3.

Nice looking truck. I tend to like them pretty simple. I wish I had taken a little more time to decide before I had them put the chrome gas door on mine. That black one looks much better. Wanna trade?

Hummie3--
This is off topic but I noticed you have Bridgestone REVO tires on your H3, how do you like them? How is handling on/off road compared to the tires that came with it? I was thinking about replacing mine eventually with REVO's. By the way, great choice on color.

They are more agressive than the stock AT off road yet are smooth and quiet on road. I really like them and get quite a few compliments.

2 1/2" turns on the torsion bars. Front end alignment checked and still within specifications. No changes in driving conditions.
