Default 2008 and up seat covers on a pre 2008

I have a 2006 H2 and like the looks of the 2008+ seat covers a lot better than the pre 2008. Does anyone know if the leather covers from the newer H2's will fit the pre 2008?

It won't work. It is entirely a new seat. The foam/lumbar is shaped different so the leather covers or skins won't fit right. Your better off either spending the money on an upholstry shop and they can change up the stich pattern and colors, or find a totaled H2 and gut the seats and bolt them in.
