Default air suspension problems

high guys. having problem air ride on my 03, it all started when my dump valve would not hold then the suspention droped very low, at first the rear inflator worked but after some trouble shooting it quit too.instead of taking it too the dealer opted too by a new compressor unit from arnot supention at a good price. when i instaled it the supention still would not raise therefore took it too dealer to scan dtc . they fond air ride sensors drain volt at recomended volts but could not clear dtc too doo a ride height cal. their saying too replace both ride sensors even tho they ohm out ok and have proper reading these are about 800.00 canadian would hate too change for nothing any ideas on how too test whith out thech 2 please help any inout is appreciated

Sounds like the sensors or leaking air bags. Previous posts on the forum show replacement between $500 and $1800 US. Replacing those sensors and calibrating them is a tricky operation best left to experienced mechanics who have done it before.

change both air bags first. you are past do on them anyway. it is a cheap easy job . $200.00 for the bags GMparts direct. if after you change the bags you still have the problem ,see if the pump works . if not unhook the ride sensor and move it around and see if you can get the pump to start pumping .

bags are good they were changed by previous owner, experts on air supention seem hard to find
