Traded 06 for 09 H3T Alpha
Just traded my 06 H3 for 09 H3T. Can't believe I went with this color, but I could not stop looking at it. Need advice about the chrome though, keep it or change the mirrors and door handles? I really like the wheels, so I think I will keep them and just go with different tires. Thanks!

That's damn handsome. Ditch the chrome. How did your trade in go? I have been thinking about doing this with all the incentives and what not, but I'm pretty sure I'll get the shaft on the trade. Congrats

Nice rig! I would ditch the chrome on the handles and mirrors. Help me pray for accessories and maybe one day they will appear.

Re: Traded 06 for 09 H3T Alpha
Thanks guys. I am pretty sure I am going to replace the chrome. Been calling every couple of days about the accessories, but not much available. Need those front wheel motorcycle chocks. What do you guys think of the Diamondback bed cover? Pricey, but pretty functional. As far as the trade went, did pretty good. Combined with the incentives, felt comfortable with the sale. My 06 was a luxury/off road suspension with pretty much every option offered in 05. I had just shy of 80,000mi on it, it needed tires, and some other small stuff. They offered me 14.5 two months ago, and I passed. Stopped in a few weeks ago, and they bumped it up a couple thousand, which is still sickening considering we paid sticker when they came out. All in all, happy with the sale.

Nice truck! I can't believe you got 15k for an 06 with 80000 miles. Makes me wonder what I could get for my 06 with only 47000 miles.
Lose the chrome.

Re: Traded 06 for 09 H3T Alpha
How do you guys keep your miles soo low? I actually got 16.5 for it, and it needed tires. I just saw an article the other day that said it is actually cheeper to buy a new car than a used version of it. Time to buy new!! I just put a body color grill and am awaiting the diamond plate bed cover, in black. I will post pics once it is on, and it stops raining. If anyone wants to buy the chrome grill let me know.

Re: Traded 06 for 09 H3T Alpha
Yeah, I agree. The body colored grills make all the difference. Here it is with the grill, shorty antenna and mud flaps. I am waiting on the Black Diamondplate bed cover.

Re: Traded 06 for 09 H3T Alpha

Re: Traded 06 for 09 H3T Alpha
I agree Victory Red is very popular, but Ive seen alot more Black here in NY and down in PA on the H3T's... and tons of Boulder Grey on H3's.
