So I looked in the owner's manual for a grease recommnendation and found it. Problem is, the GM spec numbers don't match anything at the parts store.

I found grease in blue (lithium generic), red (don't know what's in it) and black (graphite + other ingredients) cartridges. Any suggestion which is best? And is the warning on the grease cartridges about not mixing grease types to be believed?

Thanks much!

I use a GM/Chrysler Multi-Purpose Grease from Valvoline.
I also look for a Grease, that will with stand water crossing.

Are all the grease locations in the owners manual too?

Thanks for the tips guys.

Klaus -- Is it okay to mix the Mobil grease with the factory grease? This is the truck's first lube. Any old parts store sell it?

VT -- Lube locations here.
