Default air conditioning compressor

Well at first I thought it might have been the tensioners changed all those and the belts out and no, it was the compressor. So just had a new compressor, accumulator, system evacuated etc for $1200 no not at the dealer it has never been at the dealer since it was new in 2003. And it was 2000 miles over its extended warranty oh well, still a great vehicle

Default Re: air conditioning compressor

ouch , I can not beleive they charged that much . you can get a new Delphi comppressor for $245.00 the dryer, condensor (we gave up trying to flush the old condensors ) and oriface tube ,oil and 134a for $220.00 so it sounds like $465.00 in parts and $735.00 in labor .
