Re: I-40 Thru AZ and NM?
Sewie,
So what or who's going to be our South Bay Hummer shop? Will the Los Gatos facility stay the same?

Ah yes, SF Bay Area car dealerships, what fun they are, appears things still haven't changed since I bought a car out there from a certain miserable one in Pleasanton...

What I've heard is that Stevens Creek Pontiac Buick GMC bought up the rights and inventory. Both SVH locations will close. Not sure when the actual switch is going to take place though.

Re: I-40 Thru AZ and NM?
I live in South Central PA in the Laurel Highlands (commute daily) and I travel to Northwestern PA, to the Allegheny Mountains and Forest, somewhat regularly. The H3 is not a Corvette and I certainly wouldn't try to pass while towing anything, but by itself, the H3 is more than capable of passing slower trafiic - even uphill. I have done it numerous times and have yet to have a close call. Granted, you will hit high RPMs in doing so but rarely do I need to get close to the red line to get by the traffic I need to. I had a Ford Explorer Sport with a V6, before buying the H3, and I feel much more confident merging into and passing traffic with the H3. Much more crisp throttle response and much more stable.
Just my humble opinion...

I agree had a similar experience and after over 1 year the H3 gets it done with style!

Re: I-40 Thru AZ and NM?
We got one! It's a desert orange 2007 H3X - a bit too much bling for me but my fiance loves it and it's going to be her daily driver so I'll put up with it. I went to a dealership where the salesman was a member of my Corvette club so we were able to work out an acceptable deal.
We head out to Albuquerque Wednesday at 3:30 AM PST so we'll see how it does. I'll try to take some pictures.
So far I love it. I guess I'm going to have to get one of my own...
