I guessed that I should be grateful for being able to post the red "X" . Will I become a Guru with more or do you have to be born one?

Hummie2: "No part was found that matches the number you entered (15794038)." I checked the first two sites prior to posting. Your 3rd suggestion looked promising but was a dead end. Thanks anyways.
HummerNewbie: Is that like a"chop" shop offering. I might have to go with it if I can't hammer 'er myself but I'd be wondering about the guy/gal who's missing that rear bumper!!

I have no idea but it could be a salvage yard that is parting out a totaled H3.

So I went the cheap route. Ordered the plastic component on line (thanks Hummie2) for about $90 but until they arrive, I put the corner back together with the old parts and had the bumper hammered straight at a friend's art studio (they work metals) for $100. I can live with the result for now as the damage appears 95% better. Would post pics but I can't upload still. The coolest thing I discovered with regards to GM engineering when I took the corner apart was this plastic rivet thing that holds alot of the components together. It is a two piece doohickey that is quite clever in design and function. Made me wish we had some of these clever things for putting human components together. The toughest part of the repair was not being able to locate an exploded drawing of the vehicle to get the part numbers on the internet. I figured someone would have put one there by now. I had to get it from the dealer in the end.
