Default axle lock questions

well I'm not sure if I was doing something wrong or not. I had the truck in Lo loc and hit the switch and it lite right up. but after I went through the mud hole in front of me it was off...any idea why?

by the way it did well in 16"-20" of mud

that's not entirely true. It runs an algorithm that provides a formula by which it will automatically deactivate. If you are in 4 Lo and lock the rear and spin up the tires to 20mph but have traction control kicking it, it does not deactivate it.

Yetti, it's sort of a nuance. Mine has done it before with no real idea of why.

Hey, have you sat in the new 4 door before you threw it into a wall, could you drive it every day? Is it roomy enough behind the wheel?

thanks guys. I wasn't sure what was going on. I tried using the (2) button and it seemed to deactivate the traction control. I could spin up the tires and throw mud 25' in the air. I must say it was very stable in the deep stuff at about 15 mph lots of guys were getting sideways coming out of the hole and mine stayed straight every time.

as for clean up...total time about 7 hours. my wife wanted to take a picture of me this morning up to my arm pits in mud with all the skid plates off digging out all the crud under the truck.
