Default Front e Locker

3 paragraph down....

Must be old because, then I read this...

http://detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/art...30/1149/auto03

So, what's the deal?

This is probably old news to everyone here. But I'm a new H3 owner and just looking around.

Have you seen the Ring gear on the front?

It's a 7.25 inch gear. Add that, a 4:56 ratio + front locker = big bada boom.

It won't work. I think that Amstar may have been a little too enthusiastic in the beginning.

When the people who wheeled them started esplodin' front diffs, ring gears, pinions, cases etc., they thought better of it. It was a smart move.

Now the Alpha with a 4:10 ratio, 7.25" gear could possibly get a front e-locker, we'll have to wait for Eaton to come up with an aftermarket one.

Got it... big bada boom... I loved the 5th Element, though.
