I am going to be putting a winch on my rig at the earliest convenience. Probably will be an electric one so my question. Is the stock 125 amps that the alernator is rated for adequate specifically for a 9500 lb. rated winch? I think I'm going to be going with a Warn so don't know if that makes any difference.

What's the draw of the winch?
I had a Jeep with a 124 and about the same size winch, and never had a problem.
I would limit the number of accessories that are on when using the winch, and if at night, keep the lights to a minimum. But, unofficially, I would say yes, should be no problem.

thanks, my 3 is getting really loaded down with accessories, I think I have just about every electrical device known to man installed, so that might be a challenge. But I'll work my issues. Thanks.

If the amp draw is large on the winch, just make sure to turn off all unnecessary electrical components and there should be no problem.
