Did anyone actually see and touch the SUT that Hummer promised to have at the Texas State Fair? If so I would like to hear some comments. Is it exactly like the production vehicle?

My H2 is OK but I just wish it had the big block my Avalanche has but what can you do. I would consider selling both my vehicles and going with the SUT next July but I sure would like some advance info.

Like what I have I would option it to the max and am also interested in the "night vision" option as I have a ranch and there are always things out there making a bump in the night.

Like I said I would enjoy hearing anyones opion or comments after a "hamds on" look.

There is an SUT on the streets here in Houston. I have seen it several times on the freeways and I saw it in the parking garage at the Galleria. It is black and has a dealer plate on it with the number 1 and letters SUT. Not sure, no other markings and very very dark tinted windows. Looked ok.. Nothing to get all excited about...

No, did not look like a custom chop. Dan it is ok, you do not have to have the first one made, trust me they are out there on the road and have been I am sure for some time, they have to test them and they have to have feedback about performance, reliabilty, etc. So it is out there, keep your eyes open. Never know, you may have already seen it and not have known it....

The one I was mentioning was supposedly a factory one that GM had as a display at the Texas State Fair. As far as I have noted it is going to be a fairly small bed on just the regular Hummer 2 setup. If it comes with the covers like I have on the Avalacnhe it will be more useable, otherwise just a small bed won't be much better than the back end of my Hummer now. Seems to mew like Hummer is sort of a backseat cousin to regular GM truck development.
