Picture 1 -- Framecam installed. The Framecam is generally mounted with the camera on top but that wouldn't work here because it blocked the tag light. So the frame was rotated (a standard option with the product) so the cam was at the bottom. Only one problem: the cam wouldn't fit because it hit the plastic gizmo the tag is mounted on. Solution: Dremel.

Picture 3 -- Cam monitor mount is recommended on the windshield to the left of the rearview mirror but I didn't like the idea of giving up the windshield/view space so opted for a foward-left dash mount. Face of monitor is flush with the dash.

Picture 4 -- Stealth racks need stealth pictures. One very cool benefit of the rack and lights is that the light reflectors pickup the orange glow of the running lights.

LOOKS GREAT! Hope the install went OK for you. where did you end up mounting your switches? Did you go with just two or use all three?

On the cammera: Aren't you worried about someone stealing it? That tag plate comes off in two seconds. You may want to take off the plastic dial on the back and use a locking nut or something that would at least require some tools and use bolts to hold the license plate tag in place. I'm sure the cam is not cheap to replace. Looks good though! Nice job!

The four camera frame mounting screws are allen bolts with lock nuts on the back. The heads of the bolts can not be turned with a standard allen wrench -- it must be a hollow wrench to work with the pins centered in the hex depression. Good point about the dial nut on the back of the wheel cover, Tim. Securing it should be easy.

Switches -- Went with two mounted top center.

Thanks, guys. Appreciate the props. Couldn't have done the projects without the forum, that's for sure.

Now to do something about the chrome . . .
