Default Removing Emblem trim and door handle trim?

The PO of my H3 had installed the those chrome square trim pieces around the emblems and door handles. My question is whats the easiest way to remove that garbage without ruining paint? It looks like it is attached with some padded double sided tape. Chisel? Hairdryer and dental floss? Just a guess. Thanks all!

Nancy Pelosi Naked?

I know if I was your emblems I would jump off 1st chance I got! But you do have to take into account collateral damage.

A heat gun or hair dryer, dental floss (not the kind that breaks into string and unwaxed) or fishing tackle, and goo be gone.

Heat the emblem first. It may pop off. Or use the floss or fishing tackle to saw thru the adhesive pad between the emblem and door. You can use a pulling pressure toward you.

Once the emblem is off. The hair dryer can be used to warm the adhesive pad. Use your finger nail and goo be gone. Just take your time and don't rush it.

Once the adhesive is off. Clean up the area.

Will goo be gone or goof off remove paint? I guess I can go try and find something that is for adhesive and not paint. Its not actually the emblem, its the lame chrome trim. Regardless thanks for the help, and I'll see what I can do. I thanks for the entertainment all you other clowns!

standard goof off will not remove the paint but it will take wax etc. Don't use it. warm water with a very small amount of soap or wd-40/Pam will work.
