As some may remember, I was debating to buy the H3, and went H2. Well, it arrived at the Dealer today. White, Adventure, Nav, Wheel in back, U detachable steps, Sun Roof, Off road Brush Guard lights, Air compressor in the back, sweet. My Truck will be ready to take delivery this Monday.

I was surprised that the CD changer does not ship when you order the Nav...? Can I still buy one from Hummer, or do I go after Market?

Also, there is a Hummer Meet in Pioneer Town (Near Palm Springs, CA) this Saturday according to Mark Christopher Hummer. Anyone attending?

Congrats on your purchase. Too bad about the color.

The best way to add a CD Changer to your H2 is using this kit:

Congrats on the new H2! You are going to love it!
Yes to the Pioneer Town run, except that I am going Sunday. Did you buy yours from Bill Smith? He's a great guy. They had this same Hummer Happening last year and it was a lot of fun. You should have a great time.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your H2 purchase. Pay no attention to these guys on color. They're just harrassing a newbie. Cartridge CD under the rear seat drivers side. Get an extra cartridge so you always have one loaded. Although if you got XM, you'll rarely use the CD.

Klaus, in regard to the link to the CD changer from discount car stereo...can you confirm that it can be used with the 05 Navi radio? Thanks

Dan,

I believe LasVegas has one in his truck (see above).

Also, this is from the description of the changer:

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">* Supports CD playback in 2005 Hummer with Navigation

*All new 2005 Hummers with Navigation, limit your ability to listed to music and operate NAV at the same time, Our SCD-G7i 6-disc CD Changer allows Hummer Owners to listen to CD and Navigate at the same time. GM does not have a factory solution.

I am hopefully getting the Hummer today! Will know by 12:00. The U steps were not in yet....

I bought the Hummer from Jessup Hummer, the Sales Man who saved the day was Joey "Tagg" he got me the GMAC financing at the monthly payment I wanted. It was Brain at MC who gave me the heads up on the Hummer event in PT.

H2Bill, how was the event....I did not go since I did not have my Hummer

Thanks for the info on the CD changer, Las Vegas, do you own a installation shop? If so, would you like to install the CD Changer system? The Back way to LV is only 3 hours from my house in Yucca Valley.

Thanks all for the welcome!

Just bought my 05 also, Nav, Lux, Air, Roof. White/Ebony, paid $55,036 after rebates, with 2 years free XM. Is that a good price?

It was really fun, a bit harder than last years event at the same place. This year we did some extra rock crawling in the riverbed. I understand that on Saturdays run someone laid theirs over on it's side.

Tagg once tried to rip my father off on an Escalade, I only will deal with Andy Jessup Jr. when I go there. I'm amazed how many vehicles they can sell with their poor attitude.
