So, it has been 3 years and 45k miles. The exact national average, you know.

So, lets get serviced!

1) Make appt. to drop off vehicle for both 42k and 45k services to be completed simultanoeusly.

2) Listen to service advisor quote "3 hours" and "200 bucks" and catch shuttle (cargo van) with semi-retired, 80 year old, blind as a bat driver, to office.

3) Get phone call re: "Will now be a few days and 1200 bucks." "Would you like a loaner?"

4) Ask why this wasn't taken care of during the two hour wait between previously scheduled, kept drop-off time and shuttle driver sobering up enough to drive cargo van.

5) Listen to explanation of "exceeds $500, blah blah blah, must wait for extended warranty company adjuster, blah blah blah".

6) Call several days later and leave a message for service advisor.

7) Call again to discover service advisor is out sick and may never return previous call.

8) Get attitude from dealer receptionist.

9) Get return call from unknown, replacement service advisor explaining that you are "waiting for parts" "should not drive in current condition" "blah blah blah" "will have parts next week"

11) Schedule Hummer lunch with buddies, and give one of them sh!t about not bringing their Geo Metro to a Hummer lunch.

12) Drive POS Hertz Toyota Corola to Hummer lunch.

I've been consistently dissapointed with Hummer dealer service. 3 years, 4 separate dealers and more crappy experiences than I can recall.

My last paragon of service involved a puking Fuel Filter (following a change) that leaked 1/4 of a tank of gas out into my garage floor. I'm really fortunate nothing "incendiary" occured.

I'm on the edge of extended warranty expiration and have been conflicted about what to do. I've heard bad things about 3rd party coverage.

Ah, I feel better now.

its so refreshing to hear I'm not the only one with dealership trouble.

Just kidding. Adam sorry to hear you're having trouble.

I'll trade ya your troubles for mine...

I recently took my truck to an independent garage to have my over heating issued looked at for a second opinion.

Well the results are in, blown head gasket or warped heads

Spoke with my dealership today and was informed that they were not responsible and were not going to cover any SC related engine failure.

I explained to them that it is not or was not a cause of the SC that warped the heads or blew the head gasket but more likely the fact that they had installed electric fans which failed "That should read, the controller box melted".

They said to contact Magna Charger I told them they can contact Magna Charger I'm calling my attorney.

Remember I tried that and they pulled up the purple mini van?

Taking mine in next week for a few warranty items. I'm "supposed" to have an H3 as a loaner. We'll see....

Let me guess Adam, could that dealer be Medved? If so I'm not in the least bit shocked.

I have never had my H2's to a dealer except for one CPU reprogram which I supervised.

I'd rather fix GM's problems myself than have a dealer make it worse.

I have had:
bad front diff,
rattles,
two broken front driveshaft universals,
mirror problems,
leaks
two blown fuel pumps,
front diff leaks,
did I say leaks?
MAF sensor lights,
did I say rattles?
excessive wind noise,
not too bad overall, in my opinion for a GM.

Drove my Lexus for 9OK miles and I never opened the hood--could not tell you what the engine even looked like.

Still love the H2 but have no expectations of quality because it is a GM vehicle. We make our own quality every day by fixing rattles, wind noises, creaking and cracking, leaks, leaks leaks, etc. Quality takes time, quality assurance, and good workers--all of which GM lacks.

I'd guess Medved, too. That sucks Adam.

BTW, have they seen you drive?

I have always went to AlSerra, And they have never let me down. They have always gave me a Tahoe as a loaner and fixed my problem the first time.

You should noticed the weight! I've taker mine to the dump pulling a trailer. The truck and trailer weighs over 12k. With a few mods I'm sure mine weighs at least 7k.

was it a stand alone hummer dealer. The combo ones seem to be much worse. The problems we had were the old GM owners not willing to treat the customer and product upper crust. Delaers on their own have devalued the producted more then anyone with the way they do biz. That is one reason why I had to get out.
