I'm getting ready to throw some black 20" KMC Backseats on this pig and am currently kicking around tire choices. The Nitto Mud Grapplers look a little 'pimpish' (nothing personal to anyone who has them) for my truck which rarely sees dirt...they are about $30 cheaper than the Terra Grapplers though. Has anyone had both of these and been able to compare the ride qualities of them...I'm primarily concerned about on-road noise. Also...how have the folks with the XTerrains found them from a ride/noise standpoint?
And I've searched but there's just shy of one meeeeeeel-yon tire threads.
Thanks in advance,
Dan
P.S. The chuckleheads at the Denver Auto Show (guys from 5280 Motorsports) only quoted me $4,500 for this setup. And to think that I was only going to pay right around $2,200 for it.

Hey Hum, I just put on a pair of xterrains and they look bad a**! They are pretty agressive though so the ride is a little rough to me. Sound isnt nearly as bad as i thought it would be either! I took my 38 mickey T Baja ATZ's off though, so its hard for me to give you anything too straight. They were a real nice ride/sound!

If you are looking at procomps, check out the extreme AT's. They are quiet on the road and handle well of road too.

Pulled the trigger today...KMC's at $200 each and decided I liked the look (but will probably hate the noise) of the Mud Grapplers after seeing VTStomper's post. Tires were $295 each...into everything for a shade under $2,300 with tax, mount, balance, lugs, etc.
