I am going to be changing my spark plugs soon. I have never trusted stock plugs and usually always change them in my vechiles after a few k miles. What is the proper gap for our spark plugs with stock HP? And are these Beru Performance plugs just as good as any? Or is there another brand you guys would recomend? Thx.

as much as I like hypo stuff the best plugs for your ride are going to be AC's. if you can look to see if you can find an Iridium plug, they will out last & out perform every other plug out there.

Iridium:
http://www.pacific-audio.com/perform...es/267866.html
A new spark plug has been released for use in the above vehicles. The new spark plug has an Iridium tip instead of the current Platinum tip. Due to the different tip design, the gap of the spark plug has also changed. The new spark plug, P/N 12571164 with AC Delco P/N 41-985, is gapped to 1.01mm (0.040 inches) when the spark plug is made. The spark plug gap is set during manufacturing and should not be changed or damage to the spark plug may result. Any new spark plug found to not be properly gapped should not be used.
Damn, I thought I could find it with a simple search on the web. I guess "gap" means different things... I can't believe it is not in the owner's manual. Or is it? I cannot check right now.

I just made the difficult trek out to the garage to look in the underused Owners Manual and lo-and-behold what do I find on page 6-68, the spark plug gap. I was starting to get worried that it did not exist. Maybe there wasn't a gap at all.
Dan, now I know what I did wrong. Thanks, I may never have found it.
