Hadn't seen that but it's really not much of a surprise. Like most news outlets that pass themselves off as journalists, MSNBC is editorializing, not reporting facts.

Ya so they're not saying anything new or damaging. "most owners will never use there H2's for off-roading" nothing new there. The truck sucks as far as gas mileage, So. nothing new there it's a known fact. Most owners would be happy to be getting 15mpg... What's "editorialized" about the story. Unless there is something more to it than this I don't see the problem.

If you hate cars, you probably despise the monstrous Hummer H2 -- the poster child for America's gas-guzzling car culture. A jaw-dropping fuel efficiency of at best about 15 miles per gallon have not hurt sales of the huge SUV, even with higher gas prices. And although it boasts robust off-road capabilities, studies show few buyers use the vehicle this way. Famous owners include California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger

i think alot of people just resent the fact that they cant afford to barely put enough gas in their 20k car and you are sitting next to them in a gas guzzler 50-60k car, than there are the tree huggers, but i wont ever let anyone else influence any of my decisions any way u look at it HATERS HATERS

Agreed, most owners don't wheel and gas mileage isn't the best. Those are facts.

Where the story diverts from facts is in the packaging. "Turkey cars"? "Un-great cars"? Those aren't facts, they're opinions.
