Default Adapting thule or yakima devices to our cross bars??

I searched for this, figured it has come up before, got all H3 stuff, and not sure if H3 has same bars as the H2?

I have the little bolts to run in the track on top of the bars(removing black rubber strip) to mount the rocket box, but I need to put a kayak rack up there, and the guy at GI Joes went to the computer and thule website said I had to put their bars on my rack !!! That aint happenin...

Does anyone make an adaptor to put a section of the rectangular (thule) or round (yakima) tube on top of the H2 cross bars???

I may just run the bolts in that channel, and make some tie downs, but like the idea of supporting the kayak better.

Thanks, Mike

Mike, skip the cross bars all together.

You'll want the Yakima:

Landing pads (four)
Control Towers (2 sets)
78" cross bars...and than cut them to your desired length.

And than add whatever bike/ ski mounts you want. What's noce is you can take them on and off the truck in a minute or tow if you don't want them on all time. The mount landing pad will remian mounted and the tower and everything else attached will come off.

These work great and I have used them on the H2 SUV's and SUT. I now have htem mounted on the GOBI rack.
