Default New Member Awaiting New Hummer H2 SUT

I am originally from Albuquerque, NM but I'm currently stationed in the Persian Gulf.

I just ordered a 2007 H2 SUT. It should be here by the end of October. I really can hardly wait. I have a couple of questions for all you guys, as the dealer here is clueless as to what is going to be new on the 2007. Even though they received a handsome deposit from me. I talked to them today and they told me the H2 might be dicontinued, but that's just a rumor.

My questions are:

What's going to be different on the 2007 compared to the 2006?

When is the new style of H2 coming out, 2008 or 2009?

Even though I did drive the Hummer in their yard, I really don't know how it drives on the road. Does it have any get-up-and-go? Does it handle well?

I would appreciate any comments. Thanks in advance.

Welcome,

As for the get-up and go, there is plenty of that. Its not BMW or Porsche, but if need be it can move.

I am very impressed with the handling and ride comfort, no complaints.

I bet you can't wait to take that bad for a ride!!!

I drive mine like a Nextel cup car. I am not saying it handles like one though.

You're right there, I can't wait for that bad boy to arrive so I can take it out for a spin.

Thanks for your reply. Do you have any info about the changes for 2007?

So do you just drive over the Toyotas on the road or just bump them out of the way?

I figure since GM didn't announce any radical changes, most likely the 2007 model is just a carry over from 2006.

I bump draft going into the corners and it usually clears the track in front of me.
