Very very cool. Panasonic is looking for a spare tire carrier for their New demo vehicle.
Could be a good chance at some coverage for you.

Pretty Trick! What do you get for them, and is there ZERO movement when stowed?

Howdy , Zero movement yes . I am making the arm out of 2x3 x3/16 tube and the pivot shaft is 1 3/8 with roller bearings . The bumper is 3x5x 3/8 angle that I cut and shaped to give a mounting base for the pivot shaft. I mounted them on the rig to give it the angle and then welded a 2x2x3/16 sq tube in the middle, put some gussetts in a few places and whala a bumper was born. It is something you can bounce off of rocks and such. The unit weighs about 85 pounds , and UPS delivers . It installs in one piece with four new grade 8 bolts . Complete unit delivered to your USA door is $ 995 , and I will back it with a 3 year 60000 mile warranty . Rock on and have a good one .
