You need to spray the underside, rust is pretty visible.

What a fantastic eagle sticker! I think some Yosemite Sam mudflaps would compliment the eagle nicely.

Autozone and Pep Boys have some wonderful add ons when you really want the "extra touch of class."

Congrats.

Stacy, what kind of spray do you use? Despite no snow and only 2 months old, my H2 looks like his. Must be the ocean breeze..

Nothing to do with the ocean, most I have seen come off the lot looking like that. Do a forum search on 'rust', you'll come up with about 3-4 different treatments people have used and found effective. I haven't treated mine since it's not visible unless you're underneath the truck, and if someone other than me is under there, they had better not be breathing.

Stacy

Vicious! You didn't even put a little smiley at the end. I pity the tree hugger that messes with your rig.

Long Island H2 Guy,

Lookin good. How did you mount the PIAA's? I bought mine used and it had the brushguard with lights but they were mounted to the guard and I removed them for a cleaner look. Look I went offroad! Okay, so its my backyard....

mbdougl:

Wasn't too hard. Got longer bolts, stainless - and a rubber bushing. I used the brushgaurd factory holes and rigged a mount. I will take a picture tomarrow to show you how i did it. It came out clean, also it allows for the hummer words not to be interfered with. Also is not in the way of ANYTHING ELSE. That was real important to me. I'll up a pic tomarrow.

Thanks for the reply. and to the rest of you I KNOW WHAT THE RUST LOOKS LIKE!!! Amazing how fast it shows up... - Gotta get more CHROME! haha not.. I am chromed out. As for the eagle stickers, they could be temporary. Not sure. Just wanted to be a little more unique. White seems to be the color of choice of the H2...

4 cans of black spray paint took care of my rust! It kinda gets overspray all over the place, then you end up having to clean the whole truck!
