I used the auto door trim. It comes in black and chrome. I used the black. Cheap, really easy to install(just put it on the front edge of plastic molding), and most important, ZERO vibration. Honestly, it looks good too.

I like your suggestion, I think I'll try it. I was going to put some on my doors anyway to help keep the mud from caking up in the door jambs.

Try searching as I know there are pics of this. Forgot who it was but somebody fixed there marker lights this way a while back. Dealer should have a fix for you now too but good idea.

i didnt even know there was an issue with the marker lights... mine dont seem to make a noise

Still working fine for me.The dealer was very inpressed with the quick fix and said it looked like it belonged thier from the start.The only problem is I think the original install of the marker lights might be lettung water in and cooking the BCM module.They are putting in 2nd Module in last 2 weeks.

I did the same fix a few months back Kracker and it works great.For $7 you cant beat it.

Would it be possible for you to post a pic of the material you bought for the fix?

Is it like a Riebes or Pep boys type of product?

bought mine from Pep Boys is just plain old door edge I thinkit was called stylin guard you 2 long pieces one is enough to cov er front edge.

I tried the door trim and it made mine worse. It rattled badly in the wind. I ended up removing it. The dealer did a 2nd "fix" and it's much better now.
