Here are a few pics I took at the Elko Hummer Roundup put together by Rod Hall, AM General, and General Motors.
Post pics if you were there!
It was fun to meet everyone, and even though it was my first trip to Elko, Nevada, I thought it was great! Everyone in town was coming to the convention center to get a look at all the Hummers.

Cort was the guy who led our run up Merritt, he was in a White Alpha Wagon. The tail gunner said the guy driving with Cort was the "top guy" at AM General. I wasn't sure if he was filling me full of ****, but I thought someone could verify that story?

Welcome to Nevada! While you guys were there, there was another bunch of Hummers down the road in Ely on the old Pony Express trail.
Hopefully you all had enough breeze to clear the air in front of you. Talc sand at 80 MPH without a breeze is a handful!
If you haven't already, you might want to shoot your air filter with compressed air. That fine sand will clog it up quick. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
No breeze. We couldn't believe there wasn't any wind at all in the desert. It was awesome weather! And yes, the dust was really bad, especially if you were in the back of the line.

Those lights can be bad ass if used properly....The guys form HUMMER STEEL turned their's on and they were awsome.....I also like the fact you can get the covers tinted all differently for different conditions

They were switching lenses all the time, but it was still hard to tell if you weren't in the truck with them. I like the fact that you can change from a spreader lense to a yellow or blue lense if you need to. And I like the fact they were really strong. He dropped one on the cement and it was fine.

Sweet pics, Rox. I'll add some when I get a chance.
Churchie, I chased Cort down the dusty roads, too. No breakage for me. I could barely see most of the time Cort was great. What a nice guy. I ran right behind him on Merritt & Spruce. Can't wait for next year.

This was the Light Force guys rig. It's the only pic I got. We did a night run and got to see how they worked. The two on the outside are HID lights. I turned my PIAA 580's on next to them, and to be honest, I didn't notice a huge difference. Theirs were aimed higher so it was hard to get a good reference. I do like the bulletproof cover though. In fact, I broke one of my light covers the next day.
