NJ H2 has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Default Anyone put in a new aftermarket starter?

I have been having the Won't crank sometimes problem and seem to have rounded it down to my starter to be the cause of this. Apparently it's likely that the starter will intermittently fail like this, on it's way to a complete fail. I am going to replace my starter and hope it fixes this problem.
Has anyone used an aftermarket starter or know of a better starter than OEM?
I am looking at this starter from MSD. Anyone have it?

TIA,

I've used MSD and other high performance products for years on other vehicles of mine. Starter wise though I think you'd be fine going with a good oem replacement like AC Delco.

Those starters you linked are typically used for high compression engines where a oem starter would have a difficult time cranking it over.

I would say save your money and pick up an oem replacement.
