What's everyone's take on XM vs Sirius...
I'm into heavy rock/metal/industrial and like XM's Squizz 48 and the internet station XM42 Liquid Metal - actually know one of the DJs (Ward Cleaver) - I think he plays my band...??
Anyone have an opinion on rock on Sirius?
I can tell you that FM radio in Dallas for current rock music is the pits..

Octane 20 on Sirius places some great rock. Korn, zombie, etc.
Most of my time is spent on the comedy channels and they have a request show for comedy on weekdays which is pretty cool.

By the way, Steve, did you record your first album for RivetHead at Siren Studios? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Yeah Joe Sidoti did the 1st demo at Sirens... Joe's great - would like to know where he is now!
I would ask Squizz for "WAIT"... and if they don't have it - I need to make sure they do!

I hate to admit this, but better late than never. Before Squizz, I had never heard of the band "Soil". The locals never played them, and in Dallas, there's nothing good that's heavy, unless it's the Bone late at night.
It seems like Squizz LOVES Soil! They play them a bunch and I can't believe I've never heard of them. They kick so much a$$ it's not even funny. That group is a good combo of a bunch of group sounds. I love it!
Ah Jason Newstead. He was my favorite in Metallica. The guy just knows how to play and have fun. Sad to see him go, and sad that I never hear anything from his projects on the radio.
As far as bass goes, my favorite right now is Fieldy from Korn. SLAP that bass baby! Damn he rocks.

Kick a$$ he was one of the "combined" bands I was thinking of mentioned above! Drowning Pool, especially in the Soil song "Halo". That's awesome! I didn't know he moved there. Can't believe he quit the band, but then again Drowning Pool has more of a fan base.
Thanks for the trivia and the DP news!

Friday morning is Drunk Bitch Friday for Lex and Terry, my friends in Jacksonville, Florida. They play the "Drunk Bitch Friday" theme songs we wrote for them all morning when coming back from breaks. You can either listen live on the internet or download itunes for free and search for their podcasts (free also-listen on your own time). I call in the show every now and then to talk band smack...

I like hearing old Ministry too.
Something about Just One Fix wants me to drive fast. Oh yeah, I got a ticket to that song too...but that was a long time ago.
I love XM!

These songs are soo good its nuts!
Tell your base player to quit holding back and go ahead and man handle those strings. Thump them till they break. You can totaly hear hes really good but if he will hit them harder "complicated" would be a masterpiece!

Interesting. I'll have to give it a listen.
Sure you heard it on Squizz? Damn, three songs with Beer on Squizz. I wonder what they're thinking?
Oh yeah, I know what they're thinking at 4:20! LOL! The spot they play during that time is funny.

Thanks for checking out the tunes!
That video features Nikki McKibbin from American Idol's first season... Mike (drummer) from Drowning Pool made a quick cameo (running up the stairs away from the clown).
I used to have a B.C.Rich endorsement via my last band, SKWEE-G.I had the wood colored warlock custom made within a short time before Bernie Rico's passing. He signed the back of the head stock, so it's worth a million to me. I love that guitar!!!

I have had both and I kind of like the stations better on Sirius.
Really good classic rock and alternative stations, Raw Dog is way better than any of the comedy stations XM had.
Howard is reason enough to go with Sirius.
Somebody a ways back said Sirius repeats songs a lot and that is totally true.
Also I don’t know if its cause my wrangler cant put the antenna on the roof (must be mounted to a steel surface, cant do that with the dual tops on a wrangler) but I felt like I got better reception on XM.
