Does anyone have one on their truck?
Does it work good?
Where do you buy one?
Thanks

I'm curious also. I'd like to replace mine as well.
Unfortunately most of this forum's members only check in about every 2-3 months it seems with the exception of about 5-10 die-hards such as us.

^I do like the one posted. It looks like one of those flexible ones that end up bending over time so a shorter...fatter.....rigid one would be great....the antennae people....

Re: H2 Stubby Antenna...anyone has one? & does it work?
I simply shortened my stock antenna. Only did it so that the antenna was shorter than my roof. I haven't noticed a difference in reception with radio and it was really easy to do. Took 5 minutes.
Just take your antenna off the truck and place in a vise. Use the pry side of a hammer or similar to pop the antenna "ball/tip" off. Careful tho as mine went flying. Then took a cutting wheel grinder and shortened to desired length. Used a jb weld type epoxy to put antenna "ball/tip" back on. Finally sprayed antenna with some black rattlecan i had laying around to touch up any scratches. and your done.

Should be fine without the adaptor but if you find you need one then you probably can get one at a local parts store. I have this antenna and it was o.k. without adapter.

Yes it was purchased from the amazon link
It comes w/a threaded adapter that you thread the antenna ...and then to truck.
Looks good...wish there was a rubber boot to make it look factory...like the pic on that blue H2....
but it works!

Re: H2 Stubby Antenna...anyone has one? & does it work?
My stubby antenna just came in today. I also noticed the open "well" at the base of the antenna mount. To help remedy this look, I used my OEM antenna boot by clipping only the amount off the top/tip in order to fit snugly at the base and then tucked in the bottom of the boot to the chrome holder so it gives a more OEM fit to it.
I also checked the signal using it and I didnt notice any difference either. But I was in town too. I usually listen to XM radio anyway.
But I must say that I do like the appearance overall on how it compliments the H2 on the vehicle. Well worth the $.
