Bye bye Argo's Hummer. I guess a 40% side slope and 20 inches of water can stop a Hummer.

I was driving home from dinner last night and a cute lost doggie decided to jump out in front of me. I swerved to avoid him and ended up in a big muddy stream in the ditch. Needless to say I was completely stuck at an angle and water was seeping in the speakers on the passenger side. I called for a tow and two and a half hours later the tow trucks show up.

Well two hours of winnching and pulling and my Hummer was finally free from the mud. The drivetrain was messed up, and my right rear wheel was sticking out. Lovely. The clincher? The stupid service department doesn't open until monday so I am stuck without a vehicle until they can get there and give me a loaner. Argo is sad. Even sadder than when he was keyed by the hippie war protesters.

Hey DRTY, what was your hookup to get a loaner H1? I would love to drive one of those bad boys around for a while.
