Have any of you been to the "**** you and your H2" web site, I think it's safe to say that their are allot of people that don't have anything better to do than drive around and give Hummer H2 owners the "finger"!
what a fu#@ing joke! so what if the H2 get's poor fuel economy, i thought that the good ole U-S-A is the land of freedom. Who the hell are these people?
I would love to get together with some of these a-holes for a discussion forum.
i have ordered an H3, why? yes, one reason is the fuel economy, but i also think that the entire hummer line are great off road vehicles. and of course they look cool!
If anyone flips me off, I will certainly return the favor, but I've also herd of people throwing objects at hummers.. I'll tell you one thing... IF ANYONE THROWS ANYTHING AT MY NEW H3.. IT WILL GET VIOLENT! SEE YA --JP'S-H3

People that can afford an H2 or H1 can dffinitely afford gas...people that own hybrids hav a problem because all the gas will be used up before the next time they fill up.

Hate to say it, but getting an H3 for economy is like getting a Ford Focus for more hauling capacity. THEY DO NOT GET GOOD GAS MILEAGE.
I wonder why I bought one? LOL, they gett like 12-13 I'd say. Now is that a HUGe difference from the H2? I mean really what is the diff between 10 and 12? Not much...

Since you asked the question... the difference between 10 and 12 mpg driven 12,000 - 15,000 miles per year at $2.00/gallon would only be $400 - $500 per year. Not much of a savings in my opinion ($30 - $40 per month).
By the way, my SUT usually gets closer to 12 mpg.

If your comparing the H2 to the H3 the mpg would be more like 8 mpg/H2 and 15 mpg/H3,
that would be a more realistic comparison. now do the math! JP'S-H3

I can't speak for the H3, but my previous '03 SUV and current '05 SUT both get closer to 12 mpg average 50/50 city highway. I know that for a fact.

The H3 certainly does not get the best gas mileage, but it's comparable to other suv's it's size, (4runner, pathfinder etc.)
and i'm not trying to start a heated debate, but facts are facts! I almost bought an H2, but decided to go with the H3.
I think we can all agree that hummers "kick ass"

If your "bro" is getting 8 or 9 he needs to buy a locking gas cap - Someone is siphoning gas from his tank!

Yep. I think the H3's are pretty cool. I'm just saying I'd probably get one more for the smaller size or difference in pricing than the savings in gas mileage. Personally, I'm glad there's new member in the Hummer family.

I'm glad that someone is glad to see a new member of the hummer family. it seem's to me that some hummer owners veiw the H3 as almost a threat! some people are very critical about a vehicle that they know nothing or very little about. we all certainly have a right to our own view/opinion, but at least give the H3 a chance!

I have only had my '05 SUT for about a month. I have been getting 8.5-9mpg with the a/c on. This is , however, all stop & go driving. I haven't been able to keep at highway speeds for more than a minute or two at a time.

JP,
I think you will find that around here most people are open to the H3 and fully welcome it. There are those few who immediately start bashing it but they end up getting their own from most everyone in the forum. Great group of guys and gals here. The H2 went through the same thing when it came out. It too shall pass I hope.
