That is the USS Izzard steaming out of Va. Fletcher class destroyer. My father served on her in WWII. Lost him two years ago. The vets don't get their props.

Sorry to hear about your father. I was a Destroyermen myself but a newer class (Spruance), well not really new but before the Arleigh Burke class.

Thanks, USS Nimitz that was taken during our deployment in Persian Gulf, A guy from our department took that pic.
btw, congrats on your H3 and post some pics.
