They've already modded my frame a bit to give the zerks clearance.

How did installing them upside down work? I didn't buy them because I knew I would shear off the Zerk wheeling and I never thought about installing them up side down

Funny thing is...we talked about installing them upside down, but when they did the work the other tech put them in right-side up. From the way it looks, it would have worked, but it would have made greasing them a real b!tch.
I'm still wheeling my truck...theoretically, yes, they could be broken off. If and when that happens I'll just deal with it.

ive been curious about replacing a bunch of suspension parts on my truck too. suspension is normally the first thing i mod on a car. my plow truck has energy suspension bushings all around. really tightens everything up. does someone make sway bars, polyeurethane bushings,and these tracktion bars ina kit?

I don't think anyone sells all that stuff in a kit. I have, however, done most of the things you've asked about...panhard bar, trailing arms, sways, etc. Recently, I added Hotchkis sways and trailing arms along with Kryptonite tie-rods. Unbelievable difference. The truck corners SO much flatter and drives awesome. I'm assuming the sways were the biggest help, but the trailing arms couldn't hurt, either. I keep finding myself going around corners faster to see if I'm imagining it, and apparently I'm not. It also gets power to the ground better coming out of corners. Not as much squat in the outside rear.

i did some looking around and found some good deals on some parts. eibach sway bars about 300 bucks. edelbrock panhard bar for 85.and trailing arms for 170. this coupled up with new shocks, and i think my truck would handle pretty good. i was getting kinda nervouse about doing a 2-3" lift and not really doing anything to help tighten everything up. so i think this stuff would work perfect with what im planning.

obviously the sway bars are the best bang for your buck to help the suspension, but how noticeable was it after you put on the trailing arms or panhard bar?
