Yup. Personalized plates don't help the stealth factor much...

Have you thought about doing the skid plate? Maybe line-x or PC it. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Yes that will be one of my next projects on my list. I'm thinking about Line-X since I hear such great things about it. Anyone tried it there yet?

Sorry - had a helluva time finding it again! LOL But here it is - and you MUST send me some pics when you do it.

I had the same concern about the other lights not looking right - but it just may not matter!

I can't wait to see it!

Don't Line-X your skid plate. It will come off on the first rock you hit.

I don't think you can do the mirror caps because the coating is so thick. You may not be able to get them back on.

I'll order them up and see how it looks. I see it's a buy it now listing so I dont have to worry about watching it. If they look sucky they may be back up for sale on the "for sale" section.

If I was blackening mine, I'd clean it real well, prime it and rattle can it. This way you won't cry the first time you crack it and you can always touch it up when you get home.

If you aren't planning on going offroad, do what you want because it won't matter.

By the way you see a set yet for turn signals and such? I think it might look dumb without everything being done.

i rattle canned my skid plate with the duplicolor truck bed coating. it will give it the appearance of line x but a lot cheaper. and as KenP said it will scratch the first rock you hit. only 6.00 a can at pepboys.
