So HD, do I understand this correctly, you take pleasure in other peoples misfortune? May I ask why? Are you that filed with hate or jealousy or whatever you want to call it that you take pleasure in this? It is unfortunate for all involved that the accident ever happen but that is exactly what it was, an accident. That is what insurance is for. Anyone with half a brain realizes that the insurance will more than likely go up without you having to laugh and point it out. It is just so sad that you feel the need to do so

No, I laugh at a person that gives his 16 y/o son a 8K Lb MISSILE, and lets him run rampant on the street.

Face it, the accident can be contributed to 2 things:
1. Vehicle control. Had he been in control of the vehicle, the accident would not have happened.
2. Speed. A 8K Lb. vehicle traveling at 20 MPH takes around 35 feet to stop.

Now, I'm sure that the car was MORE than 35 feet in front of the H2, and that it was stopped DEAD. Had the CHILD been paying attention, the accident would not have happened.

Plain and simple. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Who said that he had total control of the vehicle or that driving had his undivided attention. Accidents don't happen without influences such as those or forces beyond your control such as the other driver. Doesn't matter if it was any 16 y/o or a 50 y/o if the person had a good driving record and was, for the most part at least, a careful drive, accidents happen. It is just sad that you such a weak minded person that you have to laugh about it. Bet if it happen to somebody's son over on your precious OT driving a vehicle you liked you wouldn't be saying the say thing. Claim all you want that you would but based on your posts here, it would be very unlikely.

You know, that stuff about a missile makes me want to put a blower on the H2. Then my son could really inflict some damage on the other poor saps out there. As Bugs Bunny often said, "what a maroon!"

What Alec said is exactly why my son is driving my H2 rather than one of the other lighter and much more powerful cars that I own. And my insurance is not only my business, it also won't go up for a number of reasons I have no desire to explain to a troll.

Red, why were you letting your 16yo run rampant in the city with an H2? What? Are you crazy?!?!?!?! HD is right, we should really be concerned about the other guy, not ourselves or our own family. I think you should teach your son a lesson and get him a yugo, or better yet, just a scooter. That way, if he's running rampant in the city again, he'll just kill himself and not someone else. God forbid if he were to hit a comanche on the road or something....
