Re: Back to Basics "The Wave"
Like someone said; Stock trucks and H3's don't wave back. H1's and mods will wave back. I used to have custom paint, sold it, now I have a stock paint (but I plan on lifting it). Soccer moms don't appreciate what they have, and H3's don't have anything to appreciate I was one of the first in this area to have an H2, now that they are more common I almost feel like anyone that waves at me must be a Hummer newbie. They are not near as rare as they once were. I don't initiate the wave anymore, but I always return it (except for H3's, unless they are modified:-).

Re: Back to Basics "The Wave"
Some H2's in my area wave, i always wave back, but normally don't wave first. I actually had another H2 the other day come up to me as i was entering my truck and he stopped by to say hi? Nice!... H3's never wave and i normally just dismiss them as a minor annoyance. There are a lot of H3's in my area compared to a few H2's

Re: Back to Basics "The Wave"
I always wave to any H1, H2 or H3. Rarely does it get returned, my wife says she waves from hers too and no one waves at her either. We have H3's and they look good.

Re: Back to Basics "The Wave"
I used to wave all the time. I hardly ever got returned, but when I did it was from adventures usually. Amazing that little difference in buyer choice turned out to be a whole different mindset. I'll start "Waving it forward" and see what happens.

Re: Back to Basics "The Wave"
I've been out of my neck of the woods for a week, where H2's (and H3's) are in more abundance. I've been in N.CA (Pebble Beach) for a week .. passed only two H2's .. waved to both and got nothing in response. Haven't seen any since. LOL. I have to say, too, that people here (Carmel, Monterey, Pebble Beach) are not Hummer-friendly. I've gotten nothing but glares from the townsfolks. Definitely a different feeling than at home, for the most part.

Re: Back to Basics "The Wave"
I live in a town with a small population but tons of tourist. The local h2'ers wave but not the H1 or H3s. Maybe ive been too snoody to wave to the threes--ill give it a shot and see what shakes.

Re: Back to Basics "The Wave"
I love Jake at the Beach stuff. I just ordered a decal to go on the H2. It says Life is Good (of course) and has a dog and they're doing marshmallows by the campfire.
