I can't remember the name of the spokeswoman, but in an interview awhile back she said there were no plans to develop a hybrid hummer.

The Escalade article says a 25% increase in fuel efficency can bring it to 30mpg???
Am I doing the math right...thats suggesting that the thing got 24mpg before...?
( 24*.25=6+24=30mpg)

I know the new '07 Tahoes and Yukons with the smaller V8's and cylinder deactivation are supposed to get highway mileage into the low 20's without hybrid technology. However, I don't the Escalades with their larger engines would do that well.

Didnt the first 02 2wd escalades come with the 5.3 v8 rather than the 6.0 which was offered in the AWD?
