The winner of the Skid Plate for the best H2 Story is:

Frank Hewitt (both Forum and Real Name)!

Here is his story:

5) Saved the snowplow!

This last weekend there was a BIG snow and wind storm. While my wife and I were out shopping and getting some lunch about 45 minutes from home (we happily went out in the bad weather in the H2). On our way home, while cruising a back road heavy with snow drifts as deep as 3 feet, we came across a snowplow stuck in a ditch. Initially, I pulled over to make sure the driver was not injured. He was fine. Embarrassed, but not injured. He was in need of some help, and didn't want to have to call his manager to get help. (understandably, being the snow plow, he wasn't exactly proud of needing to be pulled out of a ditch). Although we were in a hurry to get home to get dinner in the oven, the driver had tow straps (I did not). I hooked up the plow to my H2 and put the Hummer in 4-Low and locked out the differential. In a matter of seconds I had successfully pulled the gigantic snowplow out of the ditch and back onto the road. I was proud of my H2. The driver was just glad that he did not have to call his supervisor. We both went on our happy way!

Congrats to Frank and a big thanks to SUV Xccessory for continuing to support our site with these fantastic giveaways!
