My 2005 SUT does not have the the spare tire monuted on the back bumper and I bought that SUT tire eliminator kit. The question is there is no pigtail like I figured there would be for the licence plate light to connect to.

I have a black and white wire coming out of the new light I bought. Anyone know how I can hook this up? Any certain wires I could splice into?

Thanks!

You would need to cut the wires with plug from the tire mount that you took off and splice it onto the wires on the new licens plate frame. Make sure to cut enough of the wires from the tire mount. If you don't want to cut the wires, you can probably get a new harness from the dealer.

Sorry reread your post...Look under the rear bumper, passenger side. There should be a plug there that was hooked up to the light on the tire mount. You can splice onto there.

It's actually way up under the bumper so you may not be able to see it. The only way I was able to locate it was because it was already plugged into the light on the tire mount, so I just traced it back. You would need to reach up and feel around in there for the plug. It's there, believe me. I'll take a pic when I get home.

OK...Think I found it...

But, for some reason, my left rear side marker and left rear tail light are out and the right side is just on...did I blow a fuse somewhere...I haven't cut any wires yet...

if so where are the fusues located for this?
