Would you even consider it?
ink to images
Very interesting concept... I prefer using the roof rack so this isn't an option for us.

That would be good if you are doing safaris in your H3! I've seen pictures on this site of the H3 in Canada, in Paris, in the Yukon, in Hawaii, in Alaska(H3Alaska where have you been I miss your pics), Mexico, and Germany, but never in Africa - any H3ers in South Africa or in Kenya with pics?

Old news with lots of potential for rattles, wind noise, water leaks, etc. (like an old T-top car).

The top opens to the front, or to the rear!

Why would you want it to go from back to front instead of front to back. The cockpit area doesn't get any of the function from it.

I'm referring to engineering it. It would seem to take a lot more to make it open both ways and my question is more directed at is both ways all that desirable.
How often would you do the front to back? To use it like an open pickup bed?
It loses a lot of rigidity in the top in the back with the design like the picture shows.

An H3 SUT.... I like the idea!
It would be nice to have the ability to put things into an open bed in the back of the H3... a smaller version of the H2 SUT. That would come in very handy during deer and elk season! Even coing back from a day of crabbing on the coast.

Judging from the pictures I am going to guess that the window goes down.

The normal H-3 sunroof is pretty good. I would stay away from that because it's a ragtop and more easy to break into. Plus I want to get the same sun tan that the passengers are.
