I have a front leveling kit installed with Cognito UCA (if it matters), I dont think I got much of lift from it.
Anyway my question is what wheel is best for the H2 considering backspacing?
I can go with either of the 20" wheels or the 18" wheel. I plan to have either 37X12.5's or 37X13.5.
Size: 18x9
Offset: 0
Back Spacing 5
or
Size: 20x8.5
Offset: 10
Back Spacing 5.14
or
Size: 20x10
Offset: -24
Back Spacing 4.56
Currently I have a 20X9" wheel with 5.75BS and +18mm offset with tires measuring 35.4 X 12.8, they do rub at full lock and miss the inside fender well by about an inch.
Really hope some wheel/tire SME can help me out, as I am ready to buy before the wife spends the money.
Rim Diameter: 20 in
Rim Width: 10 in
Offset: -24 millimeters
Backspace: 4.56 in
personally, i would go with 22 inch rims or maybe 24's if you dont plan on doing any serious off roading.
i have 20 inch rockstar rims with 37 inch tires.
between the size of the actual tire, and the size of the H2, 20's seem small.
i also have the cognito UCA, so we are runnign the same setup mostly.
if you want pics, let me know

tires are BFG KM2 mud tires
37x12.5
no trail running or off roading to speak of, other than just messing around in open areas.
tires are good on wet conditions and great on dry conditions.
on snow... if the snow is compacted, they suck. they will dig in and eventually get traction.
fresh snow, they are good.
ice they suck
i blacked out the chrome star.
i never did the mod to bring the center plastic hub closer to the rim.
i have the air ride system, but since the tires were only 12.5 wide, i did not need to do the air sensor mod.
i do get some slight rubbing on full turns, but it is very slight.
i do have the T bars cranked up some to avoid inner wheel well rub.
on the straight wheel pic, you can see where i trimmed down the inner wheel well plastic. (Pic #1)
also, with 37 inch tires, i had to remove my rockguard rails as there would have been direct contact at even a slight turn.
i dont know if anyone else experienced this issue, but i hated my sidesteps and rockguard anyways.
so far, i have had the tires mounted for a little over a year
prolly about 20k miles on them, and there is a ton of meat left on them.
in the last pic, you can see where the rubber between the lugs are now flush with the treads. i would say there is a good 1/2 inch of meat on the treads right now. so milage wise, they are holding up pretty well.
milage is about 9.5 mpg on the DIC with the 37 inch tires.
prior with stock tires, i was at 11 mpg ish.

It rides a little harder and roars at speed, I just turn up the radio.

I hope so because I installed the EGR fender flares last summer. I am in Germany and they would not pass the inspection, because the current wheels stuck out some.
