You shouldnt have to pay any money over invoice.I paid MSRP price which was $31,565 base with trailer and carpeting plus auto trany. If they are charging you over invoice then I would walk away.

$1,000 over invoice or MSRP? If it is over invoice not MSRP, I would say you did pretty good. What was the final price? I haven't heard of any dealers going below MSRP unless there was some discount like GMS.

MSRP is all you should pay. Call around to make sure your don't pay extra. Ordered mine through Reno and payed $42k for lux, chrome roof rails, chroome wheels, brush guard, splash guards, mudder floor and cargo mats, tax and license.

I'm in LA too and am looking at the same package. What is the price the dealer is quoting you?

I stopped by Medved Hummer here in Denver and it doesn't look like the H3s are selling as fast as they were last month. They have about 10 of them sitting on the lot. Many of them have been there 2 weeks. Last month they were selling each H3 about 2-3 days after they arrived on the lot. Part of it may have to do with this dealer's over-pricing. But with that kind of inventory I wouldn't be surprised if buyers start to see discounting.

I paid exactly MSRP...the on;ly "break" I could get was to get the dealership to leave off the $ 299 "Paint sealant" they insist on adding to every car on the lot. At any rate, I was happy to get it .... even for MSRP---a first for me.

Just got the wifey her H3 yesterday. It is white, adv. pkg., brush guard, auto, cloth, monsoon mp3 single disc, rubber mats, sunroof, round step rails, and towing pkg.
First time in my entire life that I've ever paid sticker for something. $35,400 They didn't budge a bit on it, but did give us the value of our trade as if it were in excellent and not the fair to good (which was really the actual condition worth about $2000) so I was pretty impressed with it.
We actually weren't planning on buying, b/c their online inventory did not show anything...thought we might place an order...got to the dealer and there it was just what she wanted on the lot...must have been her lucky day...anyway she deserves it!
Here it is next to my truck...if you look close you can see my jeep in the background....still don't think the hummer will see any of the trails the scrambler goes on.

Hey All, Paid MSRP minus $500 fleet discount. The guy really pushed the fact that "he was only doing this for me" I would have bought w/o the "discount" $38 k plus Tax/Lic, Lux & Adv pkg., Roof rack, chrome pkg, chrome steps, cargo cover, brush gaurd, Monsoon, etc.

Do any of the dealers accept GM in the Driveway or GM supplier discounts? I know the ones around here are not participating in the total GM employee discount to the public, but I believe they are accepting GM employee discounts from GM employees or qualified relatives.

fstop,
Where are you located? The H3 is not available on the employee pricing program because it is an '06. As far as I know, Hummer of Kansas City is excepting both. Look for HoKC here in the forum. As I recall, he is the inventory manager for them.

Thanks, but I was just curious. I'm not ordering an H3 until September, after I sell my Jeep and most likely a Corvette.
A few people I work with have purchased H3s on employee discounts, but they are GM employees. The employee discount sales promotion to the public is not accepted by any Hummer dealers in the area, I was not sure about the GM in the Driveway promotion or GM supplier programs.
I'm located in Rochester Hills, MI.

As far as the employee discount, yes, I was talking about the current promotion for everyone. The Hummer dealers are excepting that program on the H2 but not the H3 because of the model year.

I know Sewell in Dallas and Hewlett in Austin are both taking GM Supplier discounts. I will be ordering a H3 Adventure with GM Supplier discount next month.
