I don't know if I just have bad luck but it seems like my H3's windshield is a "rock magnet". I have had the vehicle since July of 05 and am about to put my 4th windshield on. The virtical positioning may be part of why rocks don't deflect better. Has anyone heard of any hood deflectors that might help reduce some of these unfortunate incidents?

I am on #3 which need replacement. Not sure any hood deflector would help me - far too many highway miles at high speed - and I tend to get close to the car in front.

I thought getting close to cars in front was an issue so I backed off. The latest incident came from the other side of the highway. Oposing traffic on a 2 lane country road.

My wife just got a rock in the windshield yesterday. I'm planning on having the spot repaired and see how that goes. Has anyone had problems with water leakage after windshield replacement? or plastic molding problems?

I had my windshield replaced....no problem with leaks...it did kind of squeek for a few days after replacement then it stopped...I guess the glue "Set" or something.
