im looking to replace the wire if i can get a part number, but so far i havent even found any pics that show a wire going in to it.

Re: traction control wire to rear diff
The wire is for the rear locker, and is not serviced by itself. It is part of the rear locking coil, part number is 12479135

Re: traction control wire to rear diff
hmm, ok that makes sense...
im trying to resolve the issue of my TC and ABS lights being on after my regear. i was thinking this wire got dmaaged when they put the gears back in..... and right now i have no ABS, and i cant change out of 4HI.. so no 4LO,4HI / locked will work.
now... time to think o what else it could be...
i still need to get the ABS tested, but i dont think that is the issue...

Re: traction control wire to rear diff
Have you checked the ABS wiring up near the control arms? With the Cognito upper control arms, the harness sometimes rubs on the control arm. Last time I had the ABS and TC light on this was the cause. Replaced the sensor and the light went off. If I remember right, when I had this issue it would not go into 4hi/lo

Re: traction control wire to rear diff
ya i checked and reseated all 4 of them.
everythign was fine before the regear, and afterwards the shop said it was because the PCM didnt know what gears were in there and that i would need a programmer to fix it. they had a programmer, but i had a tune in there so they couldnt overwrite it, and i wanted to use mine anyways.
well i got a somewhat custom tune from Diablo for the 4.88 gears, but didnt resolve the issue.
after talking to a member here who had a similar issue, he said it was a wire in the diff that got damaged. hence i was asking about that wire as it is the only one i see that physically goes in the diff. not saying that there arent other wires though.
guess the next step is to head to autozone and have them test the ABS. like i said, i doubt it is it. i dont get any DIC messages, and my tuner doesnt show any trouble codes at all.
