2007 H2
Anyone else considering an '07?
I have an 03 w/53,000 miles and with the new warranty, so it may be a no brainer.
What are the difference b/t the 03 and 07? I realize the steering wheel update, Nav, mirrors, and I heard the 07 will get the back up camera...anything else?
Will the interior be the same or updated? Is that waiting for the 08 update? If so, what else is getting updated in 08?
Thanks for the input fellas...
-Matt

Whats the steering wheel update? Going form "HUMMER" to just "H2" in the center?

Re: 2007 H2
HUMMER to H2 is correct.
You can aslo get the Ebony interior and you loose some of the fuctions for milage on your display.
I would wait to see what 08 will bring. The "RUMORS" of the interior upgardes/ engine upgrades may be here for 08 models. The warranty is cool over the 03's.
...my 2 cents.

Re: 2007 H2
I've got an '06 that has "H2" on the steering wheel. You might think seriously about the smoking deal you can get on the '06's (0% for 5 years) and then add the nav and backup camera. I went with the Panasonic AVIC Z1 and camera. Love it.

You dont need an 07 for nav though. Avail in 06 (mine has it)

Re: 2007 H2
Thanks for the info!!
My wife's trying to push me to peep out the 07 Escalade. I made the mistake of getting her the 06 SRX and now she really likes the Caddy's!
They are nice but I can't imagine NOT having an H2!
Thanks again!

True statement. Mine had it to. I had them take it out so I could have the Z1 installed.

Astar,
I see in your sig line you have a bike carrier on your H2. What kind do you have? Is it a receiver hitch version?

No, its the roof one that keeps the front wheel on.
It's a "Hummer" one. I got them (have 2) from ebay.
GREAT prices and customer service.

So is your rack a Yakima(type) that bolts to the Hummer crossbars? How do you reach it to put the bike up there?

And how could you possibly fit through the Burger King drive-through?

Re: 2007 H2
I think My 05 has H2 on steering wheel. I have not seen it in a little while. It is at Dragons house. But, fairly sure on H2 as a company gave Me a billet chromed bezel to go arouns the H2 in steering wheel.

Re: 2007 H2
Look for an improved interior on the '08 H2. That's all I'm legally allowed to say under my camera contract.

Re: 2007 H2
Get them both! However, I'd wait a year before getting the new Escalade. If you go on the Escalade owners site all you'll read is gripes about the truck. I expect in 2008 model year they will have worked out the bugs and also the seat issue. Apparently the 2007 Escalade front seats are terrible, meaning small and stiff, unlike the throne seating on the 2002 to 2006 models.

Re: 2007 H2
'07's have different tires than any of the previous H2's They now come with Goodyear "Extreme" At's. I can't say that I am a fan of them at all. Loved the BFG's but they needed to increase the already huge profits that they are making off them by putting cheeper tires on them.
